About Captain Norm Wood
From an early age to present, I have spent nearly every day of every summer on Rainy Lake or other boarder waters in some capacity. Largely, my life has been shaped by those waters. I began my guiding career in 1996 and began my career as a teacher the year after. During this time, I have guided, raised a family, built a cabin on Rainy Lake, and more recently a home. That said, being a fishing guide has always felt like the natural place I was supposed to be. I am fortunate to have lived a life of Rainy Lake moments.
